We are proud to be a My Happy Mind school!

RSHE (Relationships, Sex and Health Education) will be taught from Reception upwards (in line with our Science progression and My Happy Mind plus). My happy Mind Plus teaches children how to be safe (including safe relationships). This approach ensures that all children are educated about their physical, emotional and mental development (according to their age) before they leave our school. All parents are invited into school prior to the teaching of this unit to see our resources and curriculum content. We are fully inclusive and appropriate adaptations are made for children with additional needs so that they can access the curriculum.

E-safety is supported by both the PSHE and Computing curriculum. This is a recurrent theme for lessons throughout the year. https://www.norton.gloucs.sch.uk/information/online-safety

We understand that the health and wellbeing of our children starts with the health and wellbeing of our families. Please visit our page for useful information and support. https://www.norton.gloucs.sch.uk/information/health-and-wellbeing-for-parents
